Red Dead Redemption – more than just redemption

Rock Star San Diego has come out with another Wild Wild West game, and it surely keeps most of us satiated. Red Dead Redemption is not a sequel to Red Dead Revolver – the previous game with a cowboy setting. The only give-away is the ‘Red Dead’ title of the game and the sharp shooting game play that keeps you engrossed.

Rock Star games are famous for their ‘Grand theft Auto’ games. So, they don’t seem to be the kind of game developers who would tread on a rocky path to make a game in a Wild West setting. But surprisingly (or not so surprisingly) they have done a great job on the game. The dialogues and graphics are crisp and fantastic. They have been smart enough not to reveal the protagonist’s past immediately –rather it slowly unfurls as the game progresses, clearing many questions that pop in our heads.

However, one repetitive part we found was that almost always a gun battle ensued, and the reasons more or less revolved around a damsel in distress. After saving the damsel ten times or so, we got bored. So what did we do? We tied the next one to the railway tracks for a gruesome death! And we earned rewards for the act too! Way to go Rock Star.

Jet charter is fast becoming an essential tool for many of today’s busy executives who need to maximize the efficiency of their working day. FlyMeNow is one of the leading jet charter providers in UK.

Beyond the storyline and missions too the game packs a punch. Various characters are chanced upon throughout the games who offer additional challenges to conquer. Each challenge completed is rewarded with a different outfit for your character. It keeps monotony at bay. Not to add the poker games that you need to win once you are at the poker table.

There are a few bugs and glitches that could sour the experience of the game. But note: They fail to reduce the fun and entertainment that Red Dead Redemption offers. This game is worth every penny you spend and promises hours of exciting game play. Plus, if you have always wanted to live the life of a cowboy on the plains, this game virtually fulfils your dream. It’s as close to perfection as possible. Two thumbs up for Red Dead Redemption.
